General Informatics Celebrates Reaching the Alabama Market

General Informatics Enters the Alabama Market

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA, June 1st, 2021

General Informatics is pleased to announce its expansion to the Alabama market. Today, June 1, General Informatics, an IT and network  infrastructure company, opened its Birmingham office, the first of three planned locations in Alabama.

In 2001, General Informatics opened its doors in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and now has additional locations in New Orleans, Jackson, and Birmingham. General Informatics boasts an exemplary team of more than 60 engineers, programmers, and designers throughout the southeast region.

Last year, General Informatics partnered with Rosewood Private Investments, allowing the company to grow organically and through acquisition. To that end, the company projects its next phase of growth includes entering other markets within Alabama, Texas, Mississippi, and the Florida panhandle.

Additionally, the new partnership with Rosewood Private Investments offers a long list of benefits to customers. For example, General Informatics can invest in the latest technology, attract top talent, and better serve the needs of specific industries.

As a part of their growth strategy, General Informatics named a new CEO and President, Don Monistere, who joined the team in November 2020. Don is thrilled at the opportunity to expand the reach of General Informatics while furthering the mission to help clients grow with the best use of technology.

With a continuously growing portfolio of diverse technology offerings, General Informatics helps clients enjoy momentous growth through innovations in technology and service delivery. General Informatics is the fastest growing IT services provider in the Southeast and is the leading IT partner for businesses, schools, and government agencies spanning the Gulf Coast.

Since launching, General Informatics receives growing recognition, including being named an Inc. 500 fastest growing company on seven different occasions.  Additionally, Microsoft named General Informatics a top tech solution in the United States, and the company has also been included in LSU’s Top 100 Companies list seven times. If history is any indication, General Informatics is on a steady rise to the top in 2021. More information can be found at www.geninf.com.
